Like each of the otherworldly menu items—which are all named for far-off planets—Slider Rider’s signature Mercury burger is carefully crafted using halal ingredients by owners Pejman and Jadira.

The husband-wife duo actually met while working in a local restaurant and quickly bonded over their love of food. When the pandemic hit and they were both out of work, they decided it was the perfect opportunity to finally make their joint dream come true and open a food truck. They debuted Slider Rider recently with a handful of signature sandwiches (mostly burgers), a few varieties of wings, and what’s already become a customer favorite, the Cosmic fries. The side features crispy shoestring fries tossed in a house-made seasoning and parmesan, then smothered with Slider Rider’s signature Cosmic sauce.
